What's New for 2024?
For the 2024 model year, Chevy is releasing the new ZR2 Bison trim. This more intensive off-road model offers 35-inch mud terrain tires and a wider track. Plus, anyone who purchases the newest model will gain aftermarket support from American Expedition Vehicles (AEV).
Performance
Powering every new Colorado model is a turbocharged 2.7-liter inline-four engine attached to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Though every model uses the same engine, the powertrain output differs depending on the trim you buy. Pick up the WT or LT model, and you'll receive 237 horsepower and 259 pound-feet of torque. However, in models like the Z71 and Trail Boss, you'll get 310 horsepower with 390 pound-feet of torque. And in the new ZR2, you'll get 310 horsepower and 430 lbs.-ft of torque.
With this much power under the hood, the Colorado is a capable hauler. When properly equipped, the new Colorado can tow up to 7,700 pounds and carry around 1,684 pounds.
Technology
As you step into the cabin of the new Colorado, you'll notice a remarkable improvement over previous generations. Along with a more comfortable and stylish design, the new Colorado offers a large 11.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless phone charging, and built-in navigation with a subscription as standard. Every Colorado also comes standard with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Safety Features
Accompanying the Colorado's list of technology is a slew of safety features.
